Snow, Snow & more Snow!!!!!!!!!!!

Just when you think Winter has come to an end and Spring is here... Winter Returns!!! Well the snow at least! On Friday I was wearing flip flops outside and by Saturday morning we had snow drifts and by the end of the weekend my van was buried in the driveway and I had to push snow out of the way to open my front door. Gotta Love Alberta!!


My NEW van that I absolutely LOVE!!!! Full tank of fuel and I can't even drive it. Snowed In and as you can see it's still snowing!!!!

Sick little Brookie

Well... never say Never!!!! My kids have 'never' been real sick up until a couple days ago. Little Brookie has had a very bad bug in her system causing her to puke constantly. Her grandma and I took her to the hospital yesterday (Day 3) and they assured us that everything was okay and recommended gravol. As per his request I did just that but still nothing has helped. It has been a long process and I have kept very busy washing her bed sheets up to 9 times a day. We're hoping that tomorrow or even this evening will be lots better than today!!! She even wanted up with me just to cuddle into me and fell asleep right across my lap like a baby! The pictures will show you just how cute Brooke can be!!

Small Wonders

This video was made by a good friend Lindsay Cameron from Pictou County, Nova Scotia. Blake grew up there and she has been a great friend to us as we have kept in contact. She made this for me as a gift to surprise Blake with for Christmas but of course I couldn't wait that long to show him!! Once you see it you'll understand why I was so anxious to share this!!

2nd Wedding Anniversary

This week has been great!! Our anniversary was on Wednesday and Blake surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet of Roses and we were able to go out of town this weekend with NO kids!! We were hoping to make it to Banff since that is Blakes favorite place in the entire world but we couldn't fit it in with the amount of time we had!! Instead of our log cabin reservation at Banff we stayed at The Hilton Garden Inn and spent the weekend in Edmonton. For those of you who know where this particular place is located you will know that there are many car dealerships surrounding the area. Now Blake drives a vehicle that is much older than myself and has had fun with it until the started stopped working and the truck hasn't been starting! So.... Blake comes up with this idea that we should go truck shopping... so I agree BUT said Blake we are only going to look... RIGHT?!?! Blake assured me that Yes we were just going to look at the average cost of a used truck and joked about getting a sports car and I thought okay Blake... Let's Look!!

Well..... We found a truck that we both liked and thought we would ask for the price and this younger guy comes out and gives us a ballpoint price and told us that if we test drove it and showed some interest his boss would probably give us an alright deal. So we did just that, Blake took it a couple blocks away and then we went inside and me.... getting a little nervous about the LOOKING and NOT buying a truck dicussion that I turned to Blake and said, Don't get your heart set on this truck because I'm going to throw a number at them and they will NEVER accept. So I did just that, I took the deal the manager gave us to start and dropped it almost $8000.00 and said it isn't worth a penny more so anything higher.... NO DEAL!!!

To my surprise and to make a long story Short Blake now owns a 2005 Ford F150 Fully loaded with a Chrome package on the exterior and a tow package for his quad and dirtbike!!! From this day forward there is NO looking at anything and especially not around special occasions!! Blake this truck will now be your anniversary gift every year April 2nd comes around!!!! Although I'm slowly starting to fall in love with the truck; I will always be in love with my Husband and thankful for the Roses!! xoxo

Greatest day!!

Wow!!! Today Blake and I celebrate 2 years of being married which is the greatest feeling in the world. The day I married Blake brought not only him and I together as a couple but also bound Hailey and Brooke into our family circle and not long after Payton joined that same circle! The girls are growing like crazy and our lives are super busy but I am creating his page so that everyone in our extended family and close friends can see the girls and watch them grow as if they were right here with us!
